If you've ever wondered whether or not Jesus loves you consider this...He created us and He gave us free will. In giving us free will He knew we'd mess up and be separated from Him because of our sin. You see, He couldn't bear the idea of us not being able to get back to Him IF/when we got it together and decided to come back to Him. (There goes that free will again!) So, here comes in His master plan! He sent His very own Son down to sin away from His glory to endure the process of the cross JUST so that, in the event that we wisely used our free will to turn back to Him, there would be a way and opportunity for us to do so! He sent His Son to die a horrible death JUST IN CASE we decided to get it together. JUST IN CASE we wanted to turn our hearts back towards Him; He wanted to make sure that we COULD! We now have the opportunity for redemption! Revelation 4 says that even the angels can't sing our redemption song! Angels are jealous of us?! Which one of us values someone else enough to give up their child for a JUST IN CASE situation? I'll tell you now, even on my toughest days as a parent I cannot imagine even considering that. It sounds INSANE to me?! The Lord is desperate for us! God has shown us that He will do whatever it takes?! Just to be with us... He sacrificed His Son ouT of love. Jesus died out of obedience "Abba, Father, take this cup from me. But not my will, thine be done." He did this for each one of us! So the next time you wonder whether or not Jesus loves you, consider that! He loves you so very much, Beloved! He can't bare the thought of being away from you for eternity so He goes through extreme measures to get you back however He can! He places so much value on you, yes you, because He's desperately in love with you!
