Romans 4:8 - The Lord takes not account nor reckons it against me

When we get into relationship with the Lord; that is, when we connect our hearts to His, it's like hitting the reset button! It's like using bleach - no blemish is left behind! There is no judgement or shame that follows us into the relationship. He has forgotten all once He forgives! And because we are washed in His blood, He can't see it! The difference between our relationship with Him versus any relationship we'll ever have with anyone else is this - God doesn't have a limit! He's limitless when it comes to His ability, and He's limitless when it come to the number of times He'll forgive us. He will forgive us time and again because He can't imagine NOT being with us. It's like He has self-induced amnesia - He wants to overlook our sin, faults/flaws, and shortcomings. Satan has been using our past or shortcomings against us for too long! He is selling us lies! Bold face lies and we've been paying top $ for them. Who else do you know that will freely forgive you? Do YOU just freely forgive? Over and over? What's your number? How many times do you allow someone hurt you before you're done? Is it three strikes and you're out? For some it may only be once, depending on the offense. Now think about this...how many times has HE allowed you? Mark 11:25 says is I don't forgive then He won't forgive. When Christ looks aT you He doesn't want to see anything other than the beauty of His most prized creation. He's more interested in talking about His love for us and showing us HIS way...So, He overlooks. Amen!
